About this villa
This beautifully restored 16th century farmhouse perfectly combines the charm of history with the comforts of modern living. Villa Molenda, originally a mill, has been meticulously restored and extended to create one connected house from two separate properties. Situated in an elevated south-west facing position just outside the centre of Alaró, the house offers stunning views of the surroundings and provides a peaceful retreat.
The property benefits from air conditioning and central heating to ensure a comfortable stay in all seasons. With four double bedrooms and two children's bedrooms, the house is suitable for both families and large groups. One of the children's bedrooms has a double bed suitable for adults, adding flexibility to the accommodation. The master bedroom on the first floor has a cosy terrace with open views of the sunrise.
Outside there are two inviting swimming pools (one fenced and one heated) with outdoor showers, perfect for cooling off on hot days. The outdoor areas include pleasant terraces and other shaded spots offering a variety of options for relaxation and entertainment. A large lawn, ideal for children to play on, adds to the family atmosphere. The sauna is near the fenced swimming pool and offers maximum privacy.
The location of the property is particularly attractive as it is only a 10 minute walk from the market square of Alaró. This picturesque mountain village, situated about 25 minutes from Palma, has a weekly market on Saturdays and numerous restaurants and cafés. The village is a popular meeting place for locals, cyclists and walkers, creating a lively and welcoming community.
Although Alaró offers tranquillity and mountain views, access to the beach and Palma is a short 25 minute drive away. The strategic location allows guests to enjoy both the tranquillity of the countryside and the vibrancy of the city.

The Neighborhood
Alaró is a hidden gem at the foot of the Tramuntana mountains. A traditional town where locals and foreigners come together in a peaceful way of life, but on bustling squares and terraces. The village is located in the centre of the island, perfectly positioned for lovers of cycling, hiking or climbing. Located about 24 km away from Palma. It is known for its spectacular landscape, the flat “twin mountains” and historical “Castell d’Alaró”.
The main attraction in Alaró is the Castell d’Alaro, set atop a mountain with some medieval ruins. But what is really impressive are the views from up there looking at the entire island of Mallorca and the Sierra de Tramuntana. You can access with a two-hour hike from the town or it's possible to drive part of the way up, parking at the restaurant Es Verger, famed for its roast lamb. Once you reach the ruins of the castle you are rewarded with breathtaking views. You can admire the Mallorcan countryside stretching all the way to the bay of Palma while enjoying a well-earned drink from the bar.

House rules

- The cleaning and maintenance staff of the property may enter the house at any time if necessary for the maintenance of the property
- It is mandatory to respect the maximum occupancy during the whole stay.
- Please inform Mallorca Collection as soon as possible of any breakdown, damage or accident occurring to the property during the stay.
- Smoking is not allowed inside the property
- No parties or events
- Events, filming or professional photo/video shoots, etc. without the express prior authorisation are not permitted.
- No loud noise after 11.00pm
Cancellation
- If the guest cancels more than 60 days in advance, a cancellation penalty of the deposit payment (25% of the booking) will be retained and not refunded.
- If the guest cancels less than 60 days in advance, no refund will be eligible.
- If guest arrives and decides to leave early, any unused nights will not be refunded.
